I downloaded From Dust as soon as I could. I played it. After two levels the game crashed during the loading of the third level.

The game would then subsequently crash every time I tried to restart the game.

After deleting and redownloading, I was able to play agian. For one level. Then the sound cut out towards the end of the level, and the game once again crashed while trying to load up the following level. As before, the game would stall prior to the title screen when I attempted to restart the game.

Delete and redownload. Play. Sound cuts out. Crashes. Game hard-locks the xbox prior to the title screen upon restart.

Sure, I can download the game another 75 times before my ISP starts charging me for the additional bandwidth ... but deleting and downloading the game after every level seems a bit excessive.

Anyone else having any of these problems? Crashing, Sound cutting out, Lockups, etc?

I played through the whole game without a crash, not sure what's going on with you guys. Old consoles maybe?

I got to the third level in the demo with no crashing but i did notice the sound cutting out in the second and third missions.

I've played the game for more than week now without a single crash, glitch or error. No idea why you guys are encountering this problem, but I don't think it's the game - hope you get it worked out soon.

Have had no such issues and have nothing but positive feelings toward this game.

Passed the game and spent hours on the final level... No hiccups for me so far.

I'm half-way into the story and the only bug I've encountered is the sound cutting out about 5 seconds from the end of the opening cinematic.

Pretty happy with my purchase so far, it doesn't even have as many levels as the trial.
 
Should've just replayed Bastion.

No issues here whatsoever. I'm on Level 10.

Have been reading of a widespread last stage bug that crashes the game as well.

An all-around sound product, I suppose.

It's not just me, but go ahead and blame me and my obviously broken xbox that does absolutely everything apart from get past level two in From Dust.
 
Guess I'll have to wait for the PC version, which I planned to buy originally anyway...ugh.

I keep seeing a ton of reports of crashing with this game all over the web and on twitter. It sounds like it was rushed to make the Summer of Arcade promotion. I wouldn't be surprised if the PC version was delayed because it either had similar issues or they had to pull resources over to the XBLA version just to get it through cert in time.
 
If it's the latter I don't really blame them, as being included in the promo can have a huge impact on a game's sales. Remember when they released Lara Croft and The Guardian of Light without co-op? It's like that, except this game crashes your 360 and can potentially cause it harm...

Not a single crash or error here either.

I have an old console. No crashing, no glitches, pretty solid pathfinding. 
 
However, in the last level where you have ultimate power, I made the terrain crazy high and the camera panned through it at one point. It's all hallow under the geometry... =(

Nothing wrong with it for me. Had two play throughs, one for me and my wife, and haven't run into a problem. Peculiar.

I have an original launch Xbox (no RROD yet) with a newer 60GB Hard drive i purchased and I haven't had any crashes yet.  
 
I'm about 6 stages in.

PC versions runs like a dead ran on my dual-core 1.9GHz...... I hate my CPU so much.......
