Overview

Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution 2 is a turn-based 4X strategy game developed by Firaxis and published by 2K Games for iOS devices on July 2, 2014 and for Android (Platform) devices on November 7, 2014. It is a sequel to the mobile version of Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution, adding a variety of new units and technologies, as well as new alternate leaders for some civilizations (namely John F. Kennedy for the Americans and Winston Churchill (Character) for the English). Further post-release updates added more units, technologies, and leaders, as well as one new civilization: the Koreans. The game later received an enhanced port to the PlayStation Vita (Platform), where it was renamed to Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution 2 Plus (or, in Japan, Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution 2+). It was first released in Japan and Asia, in both retail and digital formats, on December 3, 2015, with a worldwide digital release on March 29, 2016. This version features additional units and scenarios, as well as three new leaders that replace Tokugawa Ieyasu: Himiko (Character), Oda Nobunaga, and Tōgō Heihachirō.
