Gary Coleman used to live near me in Salt Lake Utah.  He used to get gas at the Maverick gas station close to my house, and he would get mad at people when they didn't know who he was.

I am of the opinion that even if you don't respect the person who passed away, at least respect those in mourning.

Anyone who invented "Watcha Talking about Willis" deserves respect, RIP.
