    I know Steve Jablonsky (C&C3, The Island, Transformers) is on board for the soundtrack of Gears of War 2. I know the first game's soundtrack was by Kevin Riepl (also composed BioShock's soundtrack) and I very much loved how it matched the theme of the game. Powerful, epic and excellent in my opinion.

    However, what is the deal now? Is it just Steve Jablonsky? No Kevin Riepl this time? I don't mind Steve Jablonsky since I have always admired his countributions to motion pictures. I really like The Island's soundtrack and could see him doing a good job for Gears of War 2.

    I wish I could help you man, but I really have no clue. The soundtrack to gears 1 was great, Coles rap almost made me die laughing. Not cause it was bad, but because it was so awesome. 

    The Island was a really good underrated movie. It didn't get much attention.
