Though I agree with you that Gears 2 is not a good game, I think you're exagerating.

Gears 2 was the only reason I bought my 360. Now you're telling me it wasn't worth it? Okay...

I think the one thing Gears did right, was let you tear through dudes with a chainsaw and make a bloody awesome mess.

gow1 make me buy a 360, quit job and play 24/7, gow2 is ewww...like halo2  to halo1, kotor 2 to kotor 1, problalby bioshcok 2 to bioshock 1, second parts are ussualy inferior to the first game for very different reasons.

I think they tried to do too much. They could have just taken power away from two piecing by making stopping power an effective tactic to slow people down, instead they turned the shotty into a inconsistent piece of crap. They could have stopped active downs with the sniper just by letting you crawl away from the spot you were downed, instead they took away the power of the sniper rifle. They could have made the game less glitchy and annoying by not using smokes to knock people down or grenades as proximities so people can just camp. I think you all know the list goes on, but I agree, they fucked up Gears and that is because they tried to make to many "improvements".

The sp was fantastic, The match making ruined the Mp for me. This could have been a great game, but it turned out to be more annoying then fun. I dont know why I havent traded in my copy. I have got all the sp achievements, the gears fanboy in me wont let me.

I am the same way, probably should not be playing the game, but I keep doing it because I loved the first so much.
