Was considering picking this up as its on a decent sale on amazon currently (was actually gonna try the Best Buy price match and see how miserable that whole deal is) anyway I recall people saying there was a horrendous difficulty spike near the end of the game. I've also heard just some lack luster things about the game and was curious if its worth it even with the price cut? I'm a pretty big God of War fan so it's only a matter of time before I pick it up but still. Also the online stuff seemed like some decent fun and I'm sure the longer I wait the more it'll die, that is unless its already dead. Just lookin for some honest input about it. Thanks duders!

It really is just more God of War, if you are craving that then I would recommend this. Also the difficulty spike near the end has been patched, it's still hard but not impossible like before.

@bucketdeth: ah well that's good. I don't mind a challenge as I play most games on hard but from what I've heard it sounded "cheap" for lack of a better word. I haven't played a God War game for the better part of 3 years either so I guess you could say I'm up for more. Any thoughts on the multiplayer?

I only ever played it after it was patched but I can see how it would be, it's tough as it is, not really cheap now though. I actually enjoyed the multiplayer, I really wasn't sure if I would like it but it's pretty damn fun.

I watched my cousin play a lot of it, and couldn't honestly tell you what he was doing or why.

Also, cheap is a good word. Looked polished but hollow.
