    So that's apparently a thing. Really, really enjoyed the first one on PSP but sold my console before the sequel came out. Heard great things about it and would love to have a chance to play through Ghost of Sparta should this be the case.

    Never played either, since I'm not a huge PSP fan, but I'll probably be buying this once itt hits NA.

    Agreed. 
    I personally think Stig Asmussen's direction ruined that series post Jaffe/Barlog. 

    I actually thought the whole third game was some sort of massive self parody and ironic deconstruction of Kratos as a character until that God-awful sentimental and thoroughly unearned ending. The game itself was visually spectacular at times, wildly inconsistent at others, and suffered from repetitive locations and combat, and simplistic puzzles amongst other issues.

    The fact that it had a rape joke as a trophy just cemented my utter contempt for that game and the developer's expectations as to what constitutes their audience (pre-pubescent 14 year olds boys apparently).
