Dedicated Love

I see you standing there and I HAVE to get to know you,

Surrounding your body is a big gold star that my eyes are locked onto,

You sparkle and shine and light shimmers off of your soft silky skin,

You look at me and my eyes divert away as I get super nervous,

You walk away and I feel embarassed that I was caught,

I write little notes as I think about you and leave them lying around in hopes that one day I can share them with you,

Each note just as passionate as the last,

My mind rushes when I see you and I want to say....something,

I invite you over for a nice candle light dinner,

Still speechless, but my soul is reaching out,

You speak to me and all I do is nod and hoping you know that I care,

You get up to leave, i try to stop you, but my body says no,

You find a note and begin to read,

My heart drops cold and my soul falls to the floor,

You lower the note and stare at me, then give me a heart warming smile,

My body races with adrenaline and I hop out of my seat,

You walk up to me and whisper in my ear "I really like you too",

My body stops and I am speechless again,

You look at me and give me a smile and walk away,

So many things I want to say and nothing came out,

I hope I see you again as I feel like a shook up can of soda,

I need to see you to tell you how I feel before I explode,

We meet again and I'm ready to mutter the words inside my mind,

We sit on the bed and I begin to talk,

My words and sentences are broken and spacious,

I struggle to get to the point and you finish it for me,

With a kiss on the lips and a touch of the hand,

The entire world stops and my body lights on fire,

This moment is one I have waited for the most,

Our souls mend together and we become one,

My brain races with one solid thought and one solid feeling,

Our lips seperate, but the world is still frozen in place,

We take a picture of us together to charish forever,

You begin to read another little note and look up at me and give me a tight loving hug,

We lay down together with your head on my chest,

You fall asleep and as do i with the certainty of knowing that what we have is true love,

A love that is unfiltered and unharmed,

A rare version of love that everyone fathoms,

That is....dedicated love <3 <3 <3
