I hate it. I've been a longtime fan of this franchise since the original, and while I'll still be buying the game I feel this set list is what you get when you find bands people want and then find their most obscure and worst songs. Trapped Under Ice??? REALLY???

I'm no fanboy but RB2's setlist stomps this thing into the ground.

It has Tool. That, my friends, is as important as Bob Dylan. Three songs, as well. For that alone, I might get World Tour.

I can't say I'm much of a fan. All it has is a bunch of Classic Rock that I could care less on. There's almost no bands that suit my style of music (Thrash Metal, Metalcore, that stuff. And yes, Trapped Under Ice is a terrible pick for a Metallica song)

Also, I like Tool and all but come on, 3 fucking songs? What is with the repeats of bands in this game? They couldn't have gotten a more diverse track list instead of adding artists we already have? It just bugs me that we could possibly have 4 more songs that suit someone else's taste instead of having repeats of artists.

There's also a ton of Rock Band 2 songs in the game, none of which are very good (Everlong, Go your Own Way, The Middle, etc. are OK, but I've played them so many times in RB2 by now that I don't really care)...

Maybe they'll come out and be like: "If you hate the set list make your own damn songs!" and then everyone will make Master of Puppets and Neversoft will take it down immediately.

I am not a huge fan of the setlist either.  I have been playing RB2 and any of the good songs that are on both (Livin on A Prayer, etc.) will be tired by the time GH comes out.  I understand that they can't get Led Zeppelin or The Beatles, but why not some Rolling Stones, or, like ^, a good Metallica song?  Master of Puppets or a GHWT version of One would be cool, as would pretty much anything else.  I understand where you are coming from.

Trapped Under Ice is just about the worst choice possible. I'm not sure what the logic was there.

I was thinking of picking it up before, if only for getting more songs to play with when people come over, but after seeing the full setlist... I'm definitely going to have to pass.

While you're right and the set list does leave something to be desired, I'm curious to see what will come of the song creator.  Something that powerful has the ability to add quite a bit of longevity to even the blandest set list as long as it's well implemented.

I'm actually quite a fan of both set lists and intend on picking both games up. But with the amount of Rock Band DLC I already have I can't see myself switching to World Tour as my 'main instrument game' anytime soon.
