Good for him, though didn't he say he was out of development for his health relatively recently?

It's too bad that Microsoft didn't let him finish D4. I guess it was a victim of the Kinect 180, but it was a cool project and it would have been great if it had been finished. And hey, unlike Scalebound it actually resulted in a playable vidya game, so for Microsoft Japanese 2nd Party it was a big success!

@onemanarmyy: He's actually been out of the game (sorry) for at least a year but only just resigned from Access Games a few months ago. I guess he had to officially leave the company so he could start up his own studio (which apparently started in November last year, a day after his resignation).

Good news, but honestly I feel kinda bummed about D4. If his next game is another episodic title, sorry but I'm going to stay away from it.

@bigsocrates: I think D4 was a victim of horrible sales first and foremost that made putting more money into it an unwise business choice, and as much as we like to think videogames are a profession of hearts and minds, it's really business first and fun second.

Now let's crowdfund his games so he can actually make and complete them.
