I Can't Escape is a simple grid-based exploration game which forces the player to plunge deeper and further from their goal of escape and freedom. The only elements in the game that give hope are ladders and keys - but the ladders are almost always a trap, and the keys seem less and less useful as more are collected. There is a way to escape that was discovered and posted on youtube, but for most people the game will leave them trapped in a cell far below the earth.
