Don't have a Blu-Ray player but I am definitely getting this movie.  $29.99 for the single disk?  That sounds high...

Yeah this movie is one of the definite Blu-ray films for me. Not sure when the local release date is though.

Those are the retail prices.  They will be cheaper in the stores.  Like amazon has the single for $16.99, double for $22.99 and Blu-ray for $27.95.

Those would be the prices at stores like Borders.  If you went to Target or something, it'd be on the lower end.  Also, most places usually have them on sale the first week they're released.

Sweet, thanks for the info. I usually don't go to the theatres anymore so I now wait until movies hit store shelves. Do you happen to know when Hulk comes to DvD?

No info on Incredible Hulk yet.  I'm sure it'll be soon.  Sony is releasing the 2003 Hulk on Blu-ray on 9/16.  I recently caught some on sci-fi a month or so ago.  I had forgotten how bad Hulk looked.

I'm mainly just buying movies on Blu-ray now.  Might as well get with the next-gen, right?  I try to get them when they're on sale.  Warners has said they're going to release movies at cheaper prices (some as low as 11 bucks).

Nice, but I probably won't get it. I've stopped buying movies on disc for the most part. I'll definitely get Dark Knight when that's on Blu-ray, though. Same with the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
