    Overview

Seemingly one of the more level-headed Sinners in the group. However, when the subject of Captain Ahab or U Corp comes up, she suddenly takes on a vicious tone, and regains her thirst for vengeance against "that bastard" who commanded the Pequod and its crew to their doom while trying to slay the giant Pallid Whale. Ishmael barely survived, tying herself to driftwood with a rope tied tightly by her good friend Queequeg. Even after joining Limbus Company, Ishmael is convinced that Ahab isn't truly dead, and hopes to finally take revenge on her. When the Sinners finally sail across the Great Lake of District 21 to search for a Golden Bough, Ishmael finally gets the chance when the crew discover Ahab and survivors of the Pequod living inside the Pallid Whale's stomach. After fighting through Mermaids, surviving acid traps, and eventually fighting Ahab herself right by the heart of the whale, Ishmael decides to leave a wounded Ahab behind after piercing the Pallid Whale's heart with her harpoon, finally letting go of her past while denying Ahab her biggest victory.

The base Sinner version of Ishmael wields both a circular shield and flanged mace, with "HEARSE" written on the shield in English lettering.

    Identities

LCCB Assistant Manager Ishmael takes on the identity of Saude from the Limbus Company Before Team in the original timeline. She carries a Company-branded ballistic shield and pistol with limited that deal blunt damage and can inflict Tremor status on enemies, in addition to drawing Aggro to herself to block enemy attacks.

Shi Association South Section 5 Ishmael wields an odachi, dealing pierce or slash damage while giving herself extra Poise under certain conditions. When her health is under 50%, she gains extra power.

R Corp. 4th Pack Reindeer Ishmael carries around a R Corp-charged mind staff, though her ability gives her considerably painful headaches after using it. She deals blunt damage with the staff, applies Sinking to enemies, and gains Charge count that can be used to power herself further. However, if using her Skill 3, Mind Whip, without enough Charge built up, the attack will randomly target enemies or allies.

Lobotomy E.G.O::Sloshing Ishmael takes on the role of a Technology Liberation Alliance member from Canto IV in an alternate timeline. This Identity wields the E.G.O equipment Sloshing, taken from the Abnormality Fairy Gentleman (F-01-11-12), shown as a suit covered in green goo and a metal pole, also covered in the same goo, making her feel drunk. This identity is similar to the LCCB Assistant Manager in that it inflicts blunt damage on enemies along with Tremor and Rupture status, while drawing Aggro to herself to tank enemy hits. However, more of the latter is inflicted when Sloshing Ishmael loses a clash.

Liu Association South Section 4 Ishmael uses gauntlets and martial arts with her strikes enhanced with flames to deal blunt and Burn damage.

Molar Boatworks Fixer Ishmael takes on the identity of Olga from the current timeline, wielding a motorized harpoon designed to pierce trash crab shells and other enemies, while inflicting Tremor and Sinking on them.

The Pequod Captain Ishmael comes from an alternate timeline where Ishmael herself became Captain Ahab, with Heathcliff as Queequeg and Yi Sang as Starbuck. However, she is hunting the Crimson Whale instead of the Pallid Whale in this timeline. This Identity is the first to contain 3 Passives and up to 4 unique status effects. Captain Ishmael deals mainly piercing damage along with potential Bleed and Burn effects, and can also compel one of her allies to launch a free attack with her under certain conditions.
