    Jumpdrive, originally known as Paragon, is a space exploration game in the style of Elite. It is an commercially released fork of the open source Pioneer project.

    Overview

    Jumpdrive is a space exploration game modelled after the Elite series, primarily Elite II: Frontier. The player starts off on a remote planet with an old ship and a small amount of cash and can fight, trade, explore and complete missions in order to get the funds to upgrade their ship or buy new ones, and in time build their own fleet.

    Name change

    Jumpdrive was originally made available as Paragon on Steam Early Access in May 2014. It's based on the Pioneer source code, and much of the new code is also contributed to the Pioneer project.

    Following Epic's announcement of their MOBA Paragon in November 2015, the game was renamed Jumpdrive.
