Kandarp (Ken) Patel is a veteran video game developer with over 10 years of industry experience. His first job in the industry was as an intern at Totally Games, where he worked Tie Fighter (Mac) and X-Wing vs Tie Fighter. After graduating from the University of California at Berkeley, Kandarp spent 3 years helping to develop the virtual world There. After moving back to Southern California, Kandarp returned to developing more traditional game titles, this time for Activision, first working on the sandbox title True Crime: New York City, and then moving on to first person shooter titles in the Call of Duty and James Bond lines. 2009 brought Ken to Disney Online Studios, where he worked on the MMOs "Pirates of the Caribbean Online" and "Toontown Online". After spending a year with facebook game developer Meteor Games, Kandarp branched out and formed his own studio, relaxed focus games. His debut title, Detective Dogs, was released to the App Store and Google play in the winter of 2012.
