Ketsui: Kizuna Jigoku Tachi Extra is an updated version of Cave's arcade bullet hell shoot 'em up Ketsui: Kizuna Jigoku Tachi. The porting was handled by 5pb. Pre-orders for the game included a guidebook. The Limited Edition features a 2-disc soundtrack with music from Ketsui and DoDonPachi Dai Ou Jou.

On March 18, 2013, 5pb announced that a Playstation 3 version was in development and would be released on July 25 of the same year.

    Added Features

A handful of features were added to the console release to complement the standard arcade mode. Aside from the standard leaderboards, uploadable replays, and training mode features, a few unique features not found in all Cave console ports were included.

    X-Mode

One of the primary unique additions to the console release is the addition of X-Mode, an arranged gameplay mode that changes a variety of mechanics from the original version, such as the way score chips are generated, and a different suicide bullet mechanic. It's also somewhat easier than the original arcade mode.

    No-Bullet Mode

In addition to other "extra" options settings like forced loops and unlimited lives, it's possible to play in "no-bullet" mode, which prevents all enemies and bosses from firing any bullets. This is mostly just useful for learning stage layouts and practicing chaining routes.
