Is Killer Instinct well worth remembering or rightfully forgotten?

    Your Thoughts?

I have the original arcade game.  Most that I bring over to the house to play only remember the snes version of the game (which didn't do it justice).  Also if they did happen to play it none of them remember the combo system which makes me sad.  They should have stuck with their plan to put the original on N64.

I heard Rare (I think) was working on a new one, Killer Instinct 3D. I sure hope so, I loved those games.

I haven't forgotten Killer Instinct. It's my favorite fighting game easily. It just drips with style and "coolness." :P  The entire game's just badass-personified. If it comes on PSN, I'm getting it without hesitation.

I certainly remember this game.  It was the first fighting game I ever owned, and was my favorite until Super Smash Bros. for the N64.

I had both the SNES and N64 versions, and I think it was probably the last fighting game I really invested in. I think the combos were a lot of fun, but I never felt very fair when I'd start unleashing those infinite combos with Werewolf...

I liked the arcade version (i agree, the snes was really terrible). The characters were really cool, Glacius was my favorite, and the fatalities were extremely satisfying. If there was a compilation and/or new game I'd get it at a reasonable price.

I do remember it, but the game is really flawed. Combos almost dish themselves out, but it was way better to me than MK was at the time. Still, when it comes to fighting games, I rather play Street fighter, guilty gear, SC, VF, Tekkan, than This game again.

Somewhat forgotten, yes.  The fighting genre isn't what it used to be.

It was a pretty awesome game and hopefully the rumors of a new game are true... or at least a re-release of the original.

Killer Instinct is so rad. Definitely one of my all-time favorite fighting games.
I'm still a little heartbroken by the Jeff hate.

I remember playing it on the arcade and having shaking hands all the time, I was 12 or 13 and it was like nothing I'd ever seen. Pity it's very hard to work out an Xbox or PS3 version due to legal stuff.

I remember it like I remember Double Dragon, great for the day and age but due to a lack of new releases it should be merely a fond memory.
