A couple of more weeks until Spinal comes out, gais! Fulgore comes out in March. Cinder and Riptor come out in Season 2, and stuff. Neat!

I did end up buying Season 1 Ultra, and it did kick my ass on the controller.. That damn right-bumper..

huh? he's got a kilt, a pirate ship wheel and a elephant sheild with glowing Runes carved...... that's really random design.

yes he is, he's still a simple clash of the titans skeleton design, I'm not trying to pretend he's not. But the whole kilt and sheild give it a viking vibe, I don't know what's going on with the runes and elephant?

Just playing dark souls and the simple skeletons work really well as a design. And those designs practically are bare bones, not even a series of tattered clothing on them, but they all jump around into spinning ball, do crazy stuff, explode in nice animation.

They continue to do a great job with the character designs. Cool looking update.

To be honest, this just makes me more impatient to see how Fulgore looks. Most important character for them to nail the design of, I think.

ooooookay, I can see that, but that would make less sense considering lovecraftian horror is more monster then a skeleton.

My favorite part is that that they should be doing a classic costume then, with that fucking awesome 90's spike bracelet. And I love the leather loincloth which does nothing to cover up no existent skeleton dick there.

yes, I don't know, the more I play dark souls the more I love that original Spinal design. Just embrace that love of a silly skeleton in ray harryhausen style animation, just have fun with it, like he knocks his head off to pick something in between his bones, Xylophone jokes and all.

I think it kinda sucks you can't just pay another 20 bucks for the Ultra edition. It comes out to the price of a new game with the 40 bucks you have to pay to upgrade to the Ultra pack, and with that you get earlier access to the content being released. Basically dangling it in everyone else's faces who doesn't have it, egging people to pay the 40 dollar upgrade price. It just seems shitty.

I've never played the older games but I think this one is utterly fantastic. I'm a sabrewulf player myself. Sadly I'm not too good with anyone else right now, passable as jago and trying out Thunder. I find it sometimes hard to keep up with my combos and eventually start to mash a bit which I feel like most people do. Probably just need to practice it a bit more. Gotta say though, I wish I could use that ps4 controller for the game. Anyway spinal looks rad and can't wait to play him!

how fucked up would it be for someone to buy a xbone just for KI?

I've actually considered doing that on multiple occasions, but it'd be rediculous.

Maybe some time down the line when it's gotten cheaper and a few other noteworthy exclusives have appeared.

No one should purchase a console ''just for one game''. That's insane. But as of now, the PS4 and Xbone both heavily lack in good launch games. The Xbone has Forza, at least. But other than for netflix and AC4, which I beat on my PS3, my PS4 serves no use. Killzone ended up being absolutely horrible. That 20-60FPS constant flicker destroyed it for me. Whereas my Xbone is getting some playtime with DR3, K:I and Forza.

Spinal tease sounds potentially painful and/or dangerous.

I've seriously considered it....Killer Instinct is easily the most interesting launch game, followed by Dead Rising. Which is weird because before launch I was preferring the PS4 for its controller and such.

It could be inspired by the Pirates of the Caribbean version of Davy Jones, with his tentacle beard. This is a complete guess based on that one screenshot.

I actually kinda did. Don't regret it. Really it was a gift but man. Along with forza and dead rising. Xbox kinda brought launch games I cared about. I would have bought a PS4 had it come with Ratchet and clank...

Anyways. The game is pretty awesome and really fun once you figure out the auto's and play the mindgame with people.

good point, and lovecraftian style monsters are suppose to be just utter terrors of the unknown. Which best first with deep see creatures, and Pirates part 2 and 3 felt like a sea food restaurant come alive.

You guys don't forget it could be a Kraken, those are commonly used sea monsters.

I never played a Killer Instinct game, but I always thought Fulgore looked cool when I was a young teen. Seems about the demographic that was aimed at.

Theme as in theme song? If so yes

in order orchid, main theme, glacius, thunder,sadira, sabrewolf and then a teaser of spinals theme

It's really tempting with that and Titanfall to be honest. It's the Kinect and the $499 price point that scares me off.
