Aw yeah love me some killzone 3, tho preorder bonuses are a bitch...

I think I'm going to rent this. KZ 2 multiplayer never held my interest for that long.

God damn retailer specific preorder bonuses. Amazon seems like the best anyway, so at least that worked out.

I cannot wait. Its a damn shame they did not have splitscreen coop in the original, but atleast they are fixing their mistakes with this one!

Didn't fall in love with the game although the mutli was good.

I'm pumped for this game. If I had to choose I'd probably get the 3 unlock points, since that's persistent. But Europe gets the collector's edition (in a steelbook) which comes with a code that unlocks all of those bonuses I think. So if it's not very expensive I'll get that, otherwise regular ass edition with no bonuses. Although those retro maps are tempting.

I'll wait for a $40 Amazon sale a month or so after release. Killzone has been fun but it always feels "meh" to me.

Those are probably the worst pre-order bonuses I've ever seen. "Want a huge advantage over everyone else online? Come to GameStop!" 

I rarely buy games day one, not having to deal with assholes who have a 24 hour advantage over everyone else is a good reason. :P

I think I'll wait to pick this up at a lower price next summer. I kind of want to try out Bulletstorm more(since it seems more creatively wacky like older FPS games were) and I NEED Deadspace 2 so I probably won't have the money for Killzone 3. 

Glad those retailer exclusives are mediocre, I almost had to get upset they would pull that shit.

Pretty gross. Amazon looks the best unless you're clearing out your schedule to play Killzone day one.

Chances are the "preorder bonus" is just shady wording as it will be new in every boxed copy, as most of the "preorder bonuses" have been lately.

Not only am I getting serious Halo Reach deja vu with the jetpacks and assassination stuff, but they're adding in a cat sized Helghast helmet? 
 
Man am I gonna skip this one like I should have skipped Killzone 2, fool me once, shame on you fool me twice with your generic game shame on me.

I am extremely excited for this game.  Though the only reason I have it preordered is because of left over money form a game trade in deal from a while back.  I hate preorders and don't like to encourage them.  These are mass produced disks, there is no reason that preorders should be needed.  If Gamestop decides to choke stock to artificially create a need for preorders then I go to a big store that gets plenty of stock.

You know, where the best bonus is based on a pre-order... and that pre-order has to be made by January 11th... several months before the game is released . . . when nobody is even thinking about getting around to pre-ordering?

I will deliberately refuse to preorder. I will still buy the game. I will not preorder. Is it a pointlessly stupid act of protest that will change nothing? YES!

At least it doesn't lock you out of any content, which is fine by me. Seeing though as many people doesn't make it past their first 24 hours of multiplayer, these are pretty rotten..

Yup. Basically, they went with a lesser evil. Still kinda bites, but hey. Looks like Gamestop's bonus kinda sucks. Man these preorder bonuses are a tad ridiculous. I suppose at least it's not a great deal either way. Not sure I'll be getting this until at least a few months later, it comes out the same day as Bulletstorm and I'm way more excited for that - I don't need another serious online shooter really, and I have no investment in the Killzone story so far. That said, the game looks gorgeous, so I may have to play it at some time.

Well, it is only for the first 24 hours, and the skill points from Amazon likely net the same advantage. Probably the servers are bad anyway on day one. The maps are the only real incentive.

ill probably just get this game on the release date.  lots of the pre-order stuff isnt appealing to me...   to be honest even if the pre-order edition just has a different cover than the rest, i would definately pre-order it

The pre-orders bonuses for this are awful. You can get both amazon bonuses from slurpee cup codes.

I'm against preorder bonus crap like everyone else.  Like costumes and such that you use to be able to play through a game and unlock to use but now you must preorder to get these sort of things.  Map packs as well are lame.
 
However, Amazon has some good ones lately.  Preordered Little Big Planet 2 and get 20 bucks of credit.  They also have 10 dollars to your next video game purchase if you preorder MvC3.  I'm not against those types of preorders at all especially with all these games coming out that I do want.
