There is only so much you can talk about League of Legends before you become one of those "MY ELO IS 1200 HAHAHA!" douchebags. I forgot he even played though, but from what it sounded like, he played it for a while until he got his fill and decided to leave it go.

@gerp: We're into review season now so even if he was still playing time for such things will be getting scarce.

If they think that Dota 2 is going to be easier to learn than LoL, they're in for a surprise. Dota has much steeper learning curve. Unless Valve makes a "for new players" node or something, I see it being harder than LoL.

Probably not. Because the influx of new players will be absolutely insane. There are literally millions of Steam users and they will all have Dota2 on their store page. And I guess Valve will have figured out their matchmaking algorithms.

I think they wanted to cover the MOBA space but seems like they are going to wait for DOTA to try a MOBA instead of LOL.

I guess he came to his senses.

It's a competitive game with a learning curve, I'm surprised he played it as long as he did.
