I'd love to get a glimpse into Steam's server set up. I like to imagine a giant, endless underground room, like in I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream. The fact that they managed to go down is pretty impressive.
@seppli: L4D needs to be played with friends. Playing PUGs is a nightmare because the second they start losing they just rage quit. I was able to build a stable of like 10-12 people a long time ago that would be down to play every night and we played that game for 6+ hours a night for months and was easily one of the best times I ever had with a game. Maybe now that it's free someone in the GB community can get a L4D night going or something and people can meet up to play. A group of regulars makes that game so much fun.
Nice, i've played a fuck ton of the Xbox version but never got it since i got no one to play with on steam.
By the way there's an awesome Solid Snake skin file to play with
but my personal favorite way to play RAPTORS!!!!
I recall hearing something like that a long time ago.
I believe it's a DLC map for L4D 2.
it says i have the low violence version? is that because i have the weird australian edit of the game? i don't know! i think i own the xbox version and have never played it anyway. it can just be another thing to fill up my steam library with.

Said the same thing for me too. I'm thinking that because it's free, they're giving away the low violence version because any kid could just come on and download it. But then again they're downloading a game about zombies and dead people and murder and death so it's kind of pointless.
I grabbed this. I love L4D2, it was my personal GOTY the year it came out. I have it on 360 though. Might as well have it on PC too. Does it run on Ultrabooks? Seeing how it's a 3 year old game and this is a 1 year old ultrabook that I maxed out I'm going to say... yes? Well whatever, I got it to get it. I also got Gunpoint and Papers, Please while I was buying. Well, technically I had a friend gift me Gunpoint. I gifted him Rogue Legacy back. Yay Christmas!
