    LGBT

    Concept »

An umbrella term for any sexual orientation or gender identity that is not straight.

Why is this article so badly written?

The header is "For games that contain depictions of non-heterosexual relationships." which is ALREADY NOT WHAT LGBT IS EVEN ABOUT. ESPECIALLY WHEN THE NEXT LINE SAYS "The acronym LGBT is used to represent Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals, and Transsexuals. Essentially, it represents characters who have attractions to people of the same sex." This is already fucking wrong because bisexuals are attracted to both sexes, and transsexuals have absolutely NOTHING to do with sexual attraction.

99% of the characters presented as "transgender" aren't. And are just crossdressers instead of actual transsexual characters. To be just, there ARE no transsexual video game characters, so why bother titling the article LGBT? The rest of it reads like a 12 year old's Wikipedia page.

I hazard to ask if anyone actually LGBT took any part in writing this. :|
