Lochjaw

Overview

Lochjaw is an action game developed and published by Apollo, Inc. for Atari 2600.

Gameplay

Lochjaw is a single screen maze game that has players controlling a diver. The goal is to go from the shark cage in the middle of the maze and pick up various treasures. Once picked up, the treasure must be dropped off back at the shark cage.

There is a shark that will swim through the maze and will kill the player if it comes in contact. Players can retreat to the shark cage for safety from the shark.

Another obstacle in the maze is a Loch Ness monster that will chase the player through the maze until it either kills the player or is led to one of the various caves located in the corners of the maze.
