    Overview

Love and Berry: Dress Up and Dance! (known in Japan as Oshare Majo: Love and Berry, which loosely translates to "Fashionable Witches: Love and Berry") is a collectible card-based rhythm game developed and published by Sega for arcades (using their Dreamcast-based System SP hardware) on October 30, 2004.

Using the same custom cabinet setup as Mushiking: The King of Beetle, Love and Berry is a basic rhythm game where players can make one of the main protagonists (Love and Berry, magical witches with the power of "fashion magic") dance by pressing buttons in-time to the tambourine on the screen.

The game features a collectible card system, where players scan dress-up cards with the card scanner at the center of the machine to change a specific outfit of either Love or Berry. Players earn a random card at the start of each play, and can earn bonus points for using coordinated outfit cards. The game received four regular updates (or "Collections"), each adding new cards.

Along with a fashion line and CGI film adaptation, the game later received a Nintendo DS sequel, titled Love and Berry DS Collection. All cards from the arcade version are compatible with a card scanner peripheral.
