    Lute

Character » appears in 1 games

A somewhat feckless young man travelling the world to make something of himself. One of Saga Frontier's main characters.

    Short summary describing this character.

Lute's seemingly aimless free-roaming quest reflects the easy-going, fairly aimless nature of his own life. Already in his twenties, Lute decides that it's high time he moved out of his mother's home and headed out into the wider world to pursue his own destiny, which is where his game begins.
Having no obvious objectives, Lute is free to wander the regions of Saga Frontier at his leisure, pursuing subquests and recruiting whatever characters might be available.
A seemingly trivial conversation in the quiet town of Owmi sees Lute's journey take a more serious turn however, as he's offered a place in a group opposed to the powerful Trinity organisation and the opportunity to avenge the death of his father, a crime he was previously unaware of.

As a playable unit, Lute is rather average. Unlike the other human main characters, Lute has no unique advantages over the rest of his species like Emelia's costume changes or Red's Alkaiser transformation. Lute also lacks much in the way of unusual party members, with the exception of the formidable Captain Hamilton who is peculiar to his quest, any other characters he can pick up can be acquired in each other protagonists' scenario.
Lute is easily enlisted in just about every other hero's quest, as he usually joins after being approached in a bar in scrap. Gaining Lute also allows a player to pick up his monster buddy Thunder, who starts out as one of the better monster-class characters.
