    OMGGGGGGG (!_!) plz plz please have the following charaters : Rogue, Venom/Carnage (i would be happy with eather of those), Bone claws wolverine, Spiderman,  Jedah Dohma (from darkstalkers), Misterio, Doc Ok, Nightcrawler, Toad, Doctor Strange and finaly Jill Valentine (she is less likely to appear due to Chris Redeld). we know that most of the df2 cast wil lbe in as well las alot of the popular charaters from mvc2

    it doesnt bother me, im just saying there will be more characters according to Marvel (its not a random tweeter post, its the marvel.com editor, he probably knows as much about the game as anyone from capcom). I was informing you, thats all. Those interviews with japanese producers can be mistranslated aswell, who knows if the dude didnt just say "at the moment we have around 30 characters". It just seems a lot of people are taking it as fact that the game will only have 30 characters when it will probably have more

    The Marvel vs Capcom series is one of my favorite fighting series i've ever played. Im super stoked to see how things shape up this time around. Maybe after this we'll see a new Darkstalkers!

     All I can say is that it better have fucking SPIDERMAN. Also, if both people are Spiderman, one should be regular Red and Blue and the other wearing the black costume. yeah! fuck, that would be awesome.

    I hope it has a rediculous number of characters. I loved that there were 56 characters. I hope they keep the count high for this one.

    For the record, the correct number is fifty-six. Still, I agree with what you're saying; even if this game were to somehow match that number--which, again, is virtually impossible, people are no less likely to be disappointed at their personal favorite's lack of inclusion. On both sides, there are just too many great characters, many of which are painfully obscure. Personally, I'd be more than willing to scrap Ryu or Chun-Li if they could rather include Hayato and June from Star Gladiator, but I realize that'd be a total sacrilege.     Does anyone else feel that Mega Man's whole damn universe should stay away from this game? It just seems too incongruous. And I wouldn't mind if they'd tone it down with the number of X-Men, but I digress. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing more of this game.

    Awesome teaser.  I am surprised to see this so shortly after Tatsanoko vs Capcom.  I'd assume the game will be 3D and cell shaded like SF4 (and the trailer) was.

    Well if you look at some of the blacked out fighters you can see some of the others people in the game. From what i have seen it looks like trish, dante, super skull, deadpool  and frank west could be in the game.

    Not a big fan of the spikey haired ryu from TvC, the main promo poster looks lame but the character art is awesome, but I digress NEW MvC! GET HYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYPE!!!!

    PS. Hope there is a pc release, all that MT Framework stuff (DMC 4, RE5, Lost Planet, etc.) runs amazingly on PCs, it's the best optimized engine for Console/PC games ever!

    Let see characters I would love to see. Team Capcom, Dante and Vergil from Devil May Cry,  Hideyoshi Yuki (Soki) from Onimusha Dawn of Dreams, and  Zero and X from  Megaman X.  On to Marvel, I would like to see. Archangel, Human Torch or Sunfire, X-23, Dazzler, White Queen, Darkhawk, and Banshee as new additions to the game. Old favorites that they should keep in the game.  Ken, Akuma, Hayato, Strider Hiryu. For marvel Storm, Iceman, Sabertooth Venom, Psylocke, and Gambit.

    If they can they will. but remember they already tried with sf4 and found they could not (at least not in regular sf4) because there was too much data that needs caching about the position and state of all objects in 3d space in order for ggpo to work. Since this is a 3d game, i think the chances are low that ggpo is in it, but capcom might have discovered a better way of storing the rollback data since their faliure to do so over a year ago.
