So along with the balls awesome Mass Effect 2 video that came out and makes 2010 seem all that much further away, 1Up.com has an interview with ME2 Executive Producer Casey Hudson  where he talked a little bit about the game, though in usual cagey "We're not showing our hand until E3" speak.

Anyway, the main take away seems to be that the game will be darker and more brutal than the past games. There's a hint that instead of the Citadel, your home station may be Omega; for anyone who hasn't read the second Mass Effect novel, Omega is kinda like the Citadel of space criminals. It isMos Eisley, times about ten. So that should be fun.

Thanks for posting that interview!  While it was secretive they gave some interesting details like how they're expanding on the biotic/tech powers, both of which i though left much to be desired.

But if the story is as good as the first one then i can't wait to play it!

Can't wait until E3 for the full trailer, my most anticipated game!
