so ive got mass effect one and im lookingto get ME2, was after some game feedback. Cause down here in Aus we get slogged on game prices upwards of 50%+ markup on US game prices so is it worth my $100ish AU for this particular title or should i wait for the price drop :P?

If you can wait, wait. If you're really aching for a good game experience set in the ME universe, shell out the cash. ME2 is a quality product.

If you've waited this long might as well wait for a game of the year edition that includes the DLC.

You should wait. Mass Effect 2 is a great game but I got it for $30, I couldn't imagine paying $100+ on any regular game. 

it's an awesome game that's well worth your money but I'd hold out for a price cut purely on principal. fuck paying $100 for a game

It was on sale the other week, too bad you missed it.  unless you want it for console then you gotta wait a bit longer.

I paid the rough equivalent of $100 for the game when it came out, and I don't regret it one bit.

I rented it for a week, beat it, and got my fill; but hey that might just be me.

5 play throughs. still playing more in between other games when I have time. It's worth whatever it retails for.

Its sort of a shame that overseas gaming markets fuck their customers so much more than US markets.

I paid $75(USD) for ME2 and granted it was the Collector's Edition (har har Bioware). I've logged more hours into ME2 in 2010 than any other game and I stopped playing it in mid-April. It is a quality game and if it came down to it, I would pay $100 to get it sooner rather than later (that being said, we're coming up on the 6month mark and it's already gotten at least once price cut).

I wouldn't play it if you gave it to me.

It was worth full price easily.

Import it? Wait, region coding says no to that.......

If you're still looking to buy ME2, you can pick up relatively cheap copy from GamersGate. They have a copy for around $44 Australian dollars. 

Let's just say, I'd give my left testicle for Mass Effect.
