The motion comic that allowed PS3 users to make Mass Effect one story choices is now available for 360 users. So you no longer need to play through the 1st game to get a save for the second, even though you should. I am sure this is the get more people to have clear save for when 3 comes out. It is also avalible for the PC for $3.99.

Ha I just saved myself 320 microsoft dollars, by completing the first one for like the 6th time (I lost the first 5 saves ).

Im just wondering though why did it took them almost 3 months to release this?

I'll probably get it just to mess around with. It shouldn't be used as a replacement for the first game though.

@JoMate: Probably a deal with Sony.   Ya, I need a new ME1 save and I don't know if I should use this or not, it is a lot quicker.

Comic is too limited to be of any real use.

If you really want your own choices you have to go through all of it again if ya want a perfect save.
But I guess some people just want the big choices to alter.

I really liked the small nudges, emails and what not regarding my ME1 choices tho.

Finished ME1 on PC and Xbox 360 a long time ago. Playing the game is far better than that interactive comic. Honestly, that comic only gives the very basic background.

great, there was already a free fan made tool to modify a 360 ME2 save for the ME1 choices. That's what I used anyways.

What level does it put you in for Mass2? I have a level 60 save from Mass1 (which is great and shouldn't be missed) but I would like to have other saves on the go for 3 :D So excited!

@RGHamburger: I think most considering getting the comic on the pc is more interested in how the story is told, not setting the decisions from the first... though it is good that you mention the web site.

playing ME 1 to have some consequence for ME 2 is too long. plus, I don't have time to play all. ME 2 is enough already. so comic makes sense to me. I bought it the day it was released on my PC. I buy everything about mass effect game. don't call me 'fuck'. it's not wasting my money at all for fans. plus, $3.99 whatever is not a deal to me. just drink coffee at morning. you know. you don't complain about coffee price (actually, $4 for coffee is not cheap at all comparing to gas price). it's very expensive. then people complain it? NO. so don't tell me genesis DLC is expensive. if you think it is expensive, get a life.

I own 3 copies of Mass Effect 2, one Mass Effect and all the DLC across multiple platforms. I should have gotten this as a gift or something. Or a letterman's jacket. Or a gold blazer. Or another sports related award/trophy.

No, it's a case of them responding to their customers.  This was created for the PS3 release and enough people wanted it on the 360 that they put it out there.  Only an extremely short sighted person would call this nickel and diming especially given that they haven't tried to restrict the use of alternatives.  Believe it or not, some people want to see some presentation of the story rather than playing through an older game like that, or clicking a series of options in a third party program.

The Cerberus Network was free to most of us...

Yeah pretty much... that said, they could have released it for free on the PC.

@Teran: People just like to hate on EA and anything to do with DLC. They for some reason think it is evil. People also feel really entitled and want free things for no reason. You know why it was free on the PS3? Because ME1 doesn't exist for them.

@Teran: You're damn right I'm a Mass Effect Fanboy, although it's not as great as a reward as some people think. : \

Seriously though, I think it should have been a Cerberus Network download or something. The comic wasn't that good and not really worth 4 bucks. 1-2 dollars would have been acceptable, and free download for Cerberus Network users would have been the right move.
