    Has anyone played this game, if you have you'll understand the title, if you haven't it's basically Splosion man on the iphone!.

    EDIT:Just found out that before it was published on XBLA Twisted pixel had pitched Splosion man to Capcom and the turned the game down.

    How can capcom be getting away with this!.  Pure Plagiarism!

    In this case it is very obvious.
    todays designers are teached, " If you've seen something cool, then use it, chances are they have taken it from someone else."

    They wont, Twisted Pixel already said they wont. And besides, even if they did sue Capcom, Capcom would win. Copying a concept isn't the same thing as plagiarism.  If they used the same title, the same character, the same levels, than yeah it's plagiarism. But in this case, they have enough things changed that Twisted Pixel has no way of having any case against them.

    I know they won't actually get sued but it just seems wrong.

    Here's my new idea for a game:

    Ultra Antonio Brothers.

    You play as two Italian plumbers who jump around on ORANGE turtles and GREY mushroom things. You go through pipes and collect coins. This is as close to Mario as MaXplosion is to Splosionman.

    @Dtat:
     And you would probably get away with it too - it's just a matter if the game is any good and how well your marketing team is rated.

    I'm sure this game will fade to the wayside after a short while and be quickly forgotten as a quick hack that doesn't look as good as the original.

    I know. It's ridiculous.
