That first part was probably the two-player Special Ops mode cause I doubt people can have Riot Shields in advesarial multiplayer but with Dual Wielding announced recently anything is possible. The blood on the screen effects look cooler than the old red fade effect of COD4.

Thanks.  Those blast shields look like they can take a fair bit of damage, I wonder if they've been brought into the MP.

Action looks amazing, but it looks like they're going in a slightly different direction this time. People wearin' no helmets and bright colours... I like Call of Duty for it making you feel like a small part of a large conflict. Call of duty did that by making you part of a small squad but showing you moments of other squads just like yours getting wiped out. CoD 2 did this with the assault of Pointe du Hoc on D-Day, and CoD 4 used that great nuclear bomb scene. Both of those scenes made the player feel like a part of this huge conflict where squads just like yours were all doing different objectives towards the same goal. MW2 is shaping up to be like a game where you are in this small squad where everyone is very distinct in terms of appearance. While this game will probably still be awesome, I am concerned that it is straying from what made me love CoD in the first place.

I honestly don't see the massive hype behind this.

One of the reasons I love infinity Ward's approach to single player is that they'll take like things and let them slip by with no extra fanfare, while other game publishers would put it on the back of the box and punctuate the moments with a huge crescendo. That "shoot the guy in the leg" part is a big example, much like the part of COD4 where you find they guy on the staircase. There is no indication that there is more than one outcome.

Short but awesomely sweet. I would much prefer that than weak stretched out crap.

I have to agree about short but solid campaign modes. Games that are too long get stretched out and weak, but the shorter ones are more packed with fun and are worth replaying.

it looks cool to watch that. i can't wait to play this game. it looks totally badass. i hope that every person can fall like what that dude did when he got shot in the leg.

why does the blood effect look like you're sweating red Gatorade? real blood is a lot thicker or has any one at Infinity Ward ever Bled? that being said is my only real problem with what I've seen with the game so far
