This trailer straight up, dumb.  So what, we're trading a military shooter for "The Rock" starring Sean Connery?  No thanks, I'll just play every other action game out there.  Modern Warfare was appealing because it was a military shooter not action oriented espionage.

Personally I liked the slightly ridiculous military plot rather than the John Woo barely explosions and close calls.

Still I know I'll play this for the multiplayer, sure it will be good... disappointed.

Looks like a good story IMO I think the action just adds onto it, sure it may seem cheesy or not realistic enough, but I think it will at least be fun :/

it looks like a crappy Steven Segal movie. but im sure it will be fun. it is, or was, a call of duty game, they are realistic but they always try to be over the top.

Wow everyones writing off this game from a trailer for the single player campaign? Who in Christ's name played CoD4 for the single player? You might have finished it once or twice then logged days on the online so who gives crap if the single player doesn't look better than the previous game. Though personally I think it looks better because it looks like there might be an actual story this time around not ok were in Russia shoot bad Russians or ok we're in the Middle East shoot the arabs.

You can't judge from that trailer because it was trying to show you a ton of crazy moments.  For all we know the rest of the game is more standard and not so extreme.

The single player in Modern Warfare 2 looks awesome, I have no clue what the hell kind of game you're talking about.
