One of the goriest fighting game franchises returns to its roots, introducing a new story that re-tells the events of the first three Mortal Kombat games (with a unique twist).
This stil kind of apply, but it's really only the "ordinary" throw that handles that way.
In this game it doesn't really seem that characters that you would consider grapplers have any particular edge over opponents that block a lot.... Which I guess usually is supposed to be their strength.
... Not really a big deal or anything... I just find it a bit weird.
Hmm, not really thought about that, but I know at least certain X-ray counts as throw in the sense you're talking about. Think it's Kano and Jax, might've forgotten someone.
