    MW ULTRA - GUIDE

    GENERAL TIPS

    • - The hero regenerates automatically, but only the current healthbar section (green OR yellow OR red). To go up from red TO yellow e.g, you need a medikit or a beer;
    • - A medikit heals 1 section (= 1/3rd life), a beer 1/2 section (= 1/6th life);
    • - At level 1, you can only carry 3 weapons & 2 instances of each consumable.
    • - Each "Capacity" upgrade allows to carry 1 additional weapon & 1 instance of consumable.
    • - If you loot too much weapons, the new one will replace the current one (which will be left on the ground).
    • - Thick floors/ceiling allow you to stealth when crouching.
    • - The Baton has more range, but the Knife does more damage. The Nunchaku is average.
    • - Molotov cocktails are hard to use, but will one-shot basic enemies.
    • - Dart guns do few damage, but have a short "poison" effet.
    • - To shoot diagonally, shoot straight then hold the button and do the diagonal.
    • - If you are lost, use your cell phone!

    • - The road to the outskirts "loops" and has the following map (left-2-right) :
      Storage bunker (assault rifle), Cave [requires Grappling upgrade], old Plant, bunker (RPG)

    PLOT SUMMARY

    Our hero is a burglar, partner with Lucas Black -guitarist in the Cyberpriest rock band.

    During a heist in the Electronics Plant, Lucas dies of a floor collapse.

    (recurring dream: time spent in a cell, inhumane experiments, we escape...)

    Cyberpriest hires us as guitarist, on a former recommendation of Lucas.

    During the 1st concert, sabotage happens: water and sound poisoning, with forced complicity of the sound engineer. Proof points towards Ana, leader of a militia headquartered outside of town.

    This militia knew Lucas as "Reaper" and followed his trail up to the Lawless Zone. Attacking Ana to retrieve this intel makes us a target...

    Found alive in the Lawless Zone, Lucas admits having staged his death (for our own security) and having been our supervisor in a secret training, erased from our memory, of which our dreams are a reminiscense. Lucas left this program codenamed "ULTRA" that he ended up disapproving. Found by a hitman as he speaks, he is killed in front of you.

    Milicians capture the rest of the band and detain them in a Complex out of town, owned by Grieg Corp. Inside, you find scientists and documents about ULTRA, a mind-control project targetting the whole population. Ares Grieg, Lucas' killer, handles security; his brother Apollyon Grieg is lab chief.

    With the unofficial support of detective Hammer, vous free the band members and fly to the "Pyramid", a facility where Ares escaped. Inside is the place from your dreams (cell, boxing ring...).

    Ares calls you "Necro" (your former codename) and confronts you. Beaten, his brother Solomon Grieg shows up as the real mastermind, and takes detective Hammer hostage. You confront him in a helicopter.

    (MK-Ultra was a disbanded mind-control project of the C.I.A.)
