Cyberpunk real-time strategy game for PC/Mac/Linux and select consoles.

    Short summary describing this game.

Hello, fellow NeuroSlicer, here is a short(?) tips&tricks guide for you, to stomp other players in 1v1 mode. Recommended for those who played at least 2-3 games.

Important note: this guide was written on 17.04.2018, so game might change by the time you read this. It'll be updated and enlarged with other sections once where will be need of.

So, to start with, Iets divide the game into 3 sections: early, mid and late game. If you haven't found any info you needed - check the IF section.

    • Early game is all about building your economy or tech forges. Here is a few facts:
    1. Building Data Fields towards an objective and towards the very center is a good idea.
    2. When the objective is 30 secs before activation - your territorry should be about to reach an objective. Being able to spawn forces/TeslaBomb/Shield/build Railgun or Outpost nearby to defend an objective is good.
    3. If possible - try not to show to your opponent what you researched first. (e.g. you unlocked TeslaBomb and Outpost, while your enemy got a shield, which easely counters these 2 (if used properly ofc)).
    • Mid game considered to be between 2nd minute and before the next cannon is activated. During this phase you want.
    1. Capture the very 1st objective by any means!
    2. Get the middle territory. It will be easier to harass your enemy's eco.
    3. Between spawning units you must build data fields. When exactly? When you know that your turret/forces will win current engagement.
    4. Watch out for units on the other side. Enemy wants to harass you as well!
    5. Look what your enemy is up to: is he builing his eco? Or just stays idle? If he is - expect large spam.
    6. Let your buildings tank. #savebinary
    7. Spawning your units/turrets first is very risky (unless you want to harass his eco). Once an objective is online and enemy is idle - spawn 1 pack of binaries to see what he is up to.
    • Late game is about making descisions - swap current tech, or not. Also there are 2 outcomes for it.

Outcome 1: You captured 1st objective. Good, now forget about second objective and proceed to build more datafields and push the line where the first objective was. Also it's the best time to harass on other frontires.

Outcome 2: You failed to capture 1st objective. Omg really? Ok, DON'T PANIC! Now, forget about second objective and proceed to build defences to stop enemy's rush (you can trade pylons to get an extra time), build more datafields and push the line where the first objective was. Look out for harass! By any means DON'T LET YOUR ENEMY CAPTURE THE 1st OBJECTIVE. The same is for the second, if you already lost your second wall.

A few overall tips for the lategame:

    1. Choose your tech wisely. Force enemy to use favourable for you technologies, which is easy to counter with your layout.
    2. Don't lose your vigilance.
    3. Re-read items 4-6 in the midgame.

Welcome to the IF section. I'll try to describe what to do in certain cases:

    1. If you want to play better - do more counterplays.
    2. If you lost center - defend the passage.
    3. If you are losing an advantage in number of units - build more economy.
    4. If you want to know more about interesting interactions and combinations of units - find me on NeuroSlicers discord. I'll help.
    5. If Justin is shouting at you - call me.
    6. If you found this article usefull - you made me happy. C:
