The Nintendo 3DS is a portable game console produced by Nintendo. The handheld features stereoscopic 3D technology that doesn't require glasses. It was released in Japan on February 26, 2011 and in North America on March 27, 2011.

It's true that Nintendo may have gotten some inspiration from Apple products, but almost the entire tech industry has taken a page out of apples book. Apple's clean and uncluttered style is easy to get behind.

Trends. It is just trends. You see it in every consumable product in the market. Some designers start trends, some take off and some fail and companies research what trends are doing now and predicting the future. It is hardly earth shattering news. Everything is the new black at some point in time.
The shiny white = future goes back to the 70's. Apple wasn't original in coming up with it. They may have been the first to apply it to a computer product but even that's dubious. Both are following an older aesthetic.

Really dumb topic to make, and just because the DS has one color that is the same as one color from the iPods means nothing. White is a color. You can't copyright or even unofficially claim a color. I have no idea what spurred you to make this dumb topic, are you like drunk or something? I'm actually drunk right now and even I see how dumb this topic is.
You can buy iPods in different colors, and you can get DS's in different colors. There isn't only just white. The launch devices may have been white, but that was just as an introductory thing to see how warm the market was for that product before they go crazy with new colors.

i recognized an obvious similarity and wondered if others noticed the same thing. apple's all white ipods and macbooks were very unique and immediately recognized as ipod stuff. when the wii first came out, and the ds too, many critics made the same exact comparisons when commenting on their looks. i think you're dumb for taking this too fucking serious.

yeah but the general public doesnt know that. only nerdy guys like us do. apple made the look popular and cool. they have since yet to make something as universally recognizable as "MAC" like they did with the shiny plane white design.
