No one has seem it yet, nor are we all that sure how it will work but what are the franchises that you want to see appear on the "3DS" with 3D effects?
Warioware would certainly be quite interesting with it. It scares me even to think how crazy that would look.
Nintendo 3DS

The Nintendo 3DS is a portable game console produced by Nintendo. The handheld features stereoscopic 3D technology that doesn't require glasses. It was released in Japan on February 26, 2011 and in North America on March 27, 2011.
Which franchise do you want to see with 3D effects on the "3DS"
mother. Hell i would just like to bring the mother games over here i dont care what they are in 3d 2d 9.8d
New Phoneix Wright game. Imagine that would be a cool way to do the Investigation parts. and 3D Analysis i guess.
There's a few that will be interesting, but that's the problem. WIll it go any further than that? I have a feeling people will use 3D as a gimmick. It's too easy to do so, very few people (none) have used 3D effects in a classy way. I can see games that might be practically improved by it, Star Fox was a good suggestion, but as a game it's always existed as basically a 3D showcase for nintendo products. Warioware could be interesting, as could many other little things like that.
But for more traditional games, the RPGs, the Zeldas, the marios, I think the 3D could only add an extra layer of confusion, or gimmickry.
@scarace360: This may have nothing to do with 3D games, but a triple pack mother collection on the DS would blow my face off in awesomeness. Shit, even Mother 3 as DSi Ware or SOMETHING. Argh.
A new Super Mario Land in 3D is what I really want. Gunpei Yokoi is well deserving of a homage.
Don't get any rumours started there ^^" Incidentially, I am playing Picross 3D at the moment. That game would benefit greatly from actual depth perception! Also, Mario Tennis. Wait. What if the 3DS has a 3D camera? "
I've already read something about a "3D controller"
A new first-person Metroid, preferably from Retro. Also, I'd like to see another handheld Sonic game on the system. Although all of those games have been side-scrollers, the last few have had cinematic segments during the levels, where Sonic moves around in 3D space. I think they could do some cool effects with Sonic popping out of the screen for some of that stuff.
I'd like to see Zelda on the 3DS, it'd be pretty cool for puzzles.
a sidescrolling mario, would be pretty cool too. cuz parallax and 3D could be pretty sweet.
I'd also love a side-scrolling castlevania, with some polygonal action. I think they'd be forced to move away from the 2d sprites they've used for nearly twenty years.
ooh, and since Square hasn't been doing well at final fantasy games lately, maybe they could put some re-makes on the 3DS, but I don't really care what they use. I could be happy with FF1 with no real changes to the gameplay, but some really awesome 3D graphics.
Obviously Mario Kart will be really really sweet, and we know it'll be out within the first year of the system's life.
Yeah, also some crazy ass gradius game would be sweet...
and imagine 8-bit games in 3D. like Megaman 10 and you have these flat 2D sprites in 3D space... that could be awfully cool.
" Pokemon or Zelda i personally would like to see. "A 3D Zelda would be really cool, but before they make pokemon 3D, they should actually make pokemon 3D.
Give me Mario and Luigi sequel, a New Super Mario sequel, a Warioware 3D thing, a Wario Platfromer, Kirby platformer, Castlevania, and Metroid.
I've heard rumors of an Animal Crossing at launch, and even though I was not disappointed in animal crossing for the Wii (Though I still got a lot of play time out of it.) I've gotta say that I would really dig animal crossing in 3D.
But then it seems that I am a sucker for anything in 3D. but I'm thinking that it would make catching bugs easier.
