I looked in my bag today and it would appear my Nintendo Switch is no longer there. Hopefully it's either at the LA Fitness lost and found or at my work. I've only had it for a couple weeks.
Nintendo Switch
Platform »
Nintendo's home console that can be turned into a portable device by removing it from its TV-dock. Launched worldwide on March 3, 2017.
Anyone lost their Switch yet?
Not yet, but I'm not bringing it to PAX for that reason. So far it's only portable in that I play it in bed.
I bought a friend a Switch and a couple digital games as a birthday gift because he had a new kid and I thought it would fit into his life better than gaming on the TV.
He left it on a plane.
@cmblasko: Splatoon 2 on a bike actually. I've checked everywhere. I'm beginning to think someone just took it. How depressing.
Man, that's lousy to hear. Hope you find it.
Nintendo should probably have provided a "Find my Switch" app at launch.
I 100% know the despair and intermittent anxiety that's going on right now isn't completely about the switch but damn does it feel bad. Losing it made me realize what a perfect little thing the Switch was. It worked, no caveats, and playing Splatoon 2 made me feel like a kid again in ways that PC games can't. And having it just disappear is just a terrible way to go. Feel it could be found if I just somehow figured out some missing moment that ended with me putting the Switch somewhere dumb. I checked my trash can twice. Still haven't given up the last bit of hope. Guy at LA Fitness said he was going to ask janitorial but that feels like a fool's errand. What kind of a terrible person just walks away with a Nintendo Switch?
