While replaying through this game I remembered how much I love the Onimusha franchise. It also got me to thinking if there would ever be a new one for the PS3 or Xbox 360. 
 
Would anyone in the GB community be interested in playing a new Onimusha?

no one.

They kind of fell off track with those games. I loved one and two, but fuck the rest of those games. They were awful.

I would love a new Onimusha. I actually really liked how Dawn of Dreams went full-on action-RPG, despite straying from the series' roots. I enjoyed the whole series (though I never played that weird fighting game spin-off) with the third maybe being my favorite in the main trilogy.

I liked all of them, so sure, that'd be cool.  Dawn of dreams was weird, and not much like any of the other games in the series, but was still actually really fun.  The multiple characters thing stayed way less annoying than it could have.

Onimusha was like Resident Evil with samurai, but the difference was that it was actually fun. So more Onimusha, please.

Maybe. Maybe bring prerendered backgrounds back and let that be this game's gimmick so its not just a less interesting Devil may Cry.
