OnLive Micro-Console Unboxing
It looks like everything is pretty high quality. My internet is garbage, if it wasn't I would consider getting it.
I would love to jump into this, but I share an internet connection with two other roommates, who 24/7 MapleStory and torrent all day when they are there. I could get the micro-console, but I am worried about latency issues. I have a 26" HDTV, how would that affect my bandwidth requirements?
Hmmm..
Now I'm all for trying out new things, but why did you buy it? Also how much was it? When are you going to post some video with you playing that thing?
@SathingtonWaltz: If you can man grab Verizon and get the 25 up/ 25 down connection, I got two other room mates too and we don't even come close to getting in each other's way with bandwidth. We're all playing games, streaming HD videos, and downloading stuff 24/7.
You can check out my written review here, my video review still needs planning and footage recorded. I'll be posting it most likely on Monday, though I do have an out-dated video review here. Now I'm all for trying out new things, but why did you buy it? Also how much was it? Yes I did. Was the only way to get the angle I wanted." did you hang a camera to the ceiling, it keeps rotating n shit! "
The subscription plan seems really awesome, but the library is gonna have to grow significantly before I even consider getting it.
" Ugh. You do realize that gold plating makes absolutely no difference on an HDMI cable, right? It's a digital signal. "I hope he was kidding with the "not gold plated" comment. No one should ever spend more than three or four bucks on a 6' HDMI cable from Monoprice.
" @tsolless said:True that. I got my HDMI cable for fifteen dollars at Walmart and it's beautiful." Ugh. You do realize that gold plating makes absolutely no difference on an HDMI cable, right? " @tsolless said:Yeah it was a joke. Everything else was really high-quality, so it was just a sarcastic remark almost expecting it to be gold." Ugh.
