    Ori and the Blind Forest

    I was looking forward for this game for a long time, and when I picked it up, it exceeded my expectations in many fields, and disappointed in others.

    Good: A great story, with lovable and memorable characters, and really fun platforming mechanics! You can level up your characters for cooler abilities, like upgrading your double jump to a triple jump, or finding secret areas easier. I also love the metroidvania style!

    Bad: Game still suffers from some game breaking glitches, such as being stuck in water, or being trapped in certain areas. Also some areas you cannot go back to if you missed something, so you can't collect missed items.

    Overall I thought this game was amazing, and in my personal opinion, is going to be a classic. Its definitely worth 20 bucks

      Ori manages to mix difficult platforming with a some metroidvania aspects to make a unique looking game. First up this game does look gorgeous with a nicely animated hand drawn style. The story to go along with the art style is rather simple but it at least tells a interesting tale. Unlike the cute exterior might imply the platforming challenges in this game will get pretty rough.
