Hey all :) I'm new here. Was wondering if anyone here played MMOs? I play the MMO, Fiesta Online. Really cool MMO. Can't complain much about it. I've heard complaints about it but in my own opinion, the game is really fun to play. Anyone play it?
Anyways, I used to play WoW and tried WAR and played some Aion on my brother's account, but I can only really enjoy WoW. I used to play Runescape like 5 years ago when I had a shit computer and loved it though.
I played WoW for a bit and I never got into it. I found it to be a bit boring and I hate paying for games. Been playing Fiesta for months now and even though you have the option of spending money on premium items, it's not required. I played Runescape as my very first MMO lol but I retired when I realized that the game wasn't for me anymore aka I grew up and found better games that fit my interest. You guys should try Fiesta...really cool game. They just released their newest feature..it's a housing system that I just finished the quest for. You can read more about it here. :)
I played WoW for a few months with some friends of mine. It was good times. The only reason that I really enjoyed it was all of the exploration. At some point, I got the World Explorer achievement after traversing every inch of land and the whole game kinda became boring. Then, I moved in with the aforementioned friends and then it ceased to be fun all together. I have absolutely no interest in raiding so the game just kinda sucked at that point and since I'd already seen the entire land, I had no reason to create a new character. I'll probably pick up Cataclysm when it hits so I can see what changes they make and whatnot, but I'll probably only stay on for a month or so. Probably.
One day I plan on trying Hello Kitty Online. That looks like good fun.
Thank God WoW sucked when I got back into it a few months ago, if it grabbed me then, surely I would be playing it right now. Anyways, no, I do not play MMOs.

Back when Vinny and Ryan were doing the Matrix Online thing, I downloaded the trial for Star Wars Galaxies. Dude, that was a trainwreck. Wall to wall crap. I'm really excited to try out The Old Republic and Jumpgate Revolution (Evolution?) whenever those hit. I was never big into wizards and dragons and stuff, but I love me some space crap.
Although I've never been the kind of guy to get into an MMO and play that and only that game for months on end I have played quite a few MMOs in my time, most of them free-to-play. I've played Tibia, Maplestory, Puzzle Pirates, Guild Wars, World of Warcraft, and Kal Online, I've also very briefly played Flyff, Runescape, PristonTale, Dragonica, Bang Howdy and done the EVE Online two week trial.
@Gamer_152: I played the EVE Online trial as well, but I gave up after about three hours. I always wanted to play that game because of all of the crazy stories you hear about it. In theory, it's absolutely amazing. In practice... not so much. Of course, I only played for a few hours so I really can't talk.

I've pretty much played all the MMOs worth playing and didn't like most of them. The only one I've stuck to the longest has been City of Heroes and I used to loooove Planet Side. Never got into WoW to be honest.

I want to play Wurm again but, I know no one that wants to play it. I'd rather not build a huge ass ranch for 3 months by myself again. Probably end up playing WoW again in a month or two. I think it'll be my 6th time going back to WoW.
I played WoW for 2 weeks a few years back... I didn't get into it. Last October I played Champions Online and lost interest. I've been playing Aion since November and I started getting bored after hitting lvl 49. Now it's back to playing consoles.
Boo to WoW. Requiring to pay for games? Bleh....I'd rather play an F2P game and NOT be required to pay for anything. All the excuses of "but you have to pay to be a successful player" and "the game has way too many glitches" can be applied to any MMO out there. I'm sticking to Fiesta where a lot of my friends are :)
I used to play planet scape when that first came out. That was the shit. There needs to be alot more fps mmos out there.
Ive played a bunch of others for about a week to a month and then get bored and done. I try them, im opened minded with them, but planetscape has been the only one ive played for more than a month and even then I only played planetscape for a summer
Well, honestly speaking, WoW deserves to be named one of if not the best MMO. I am still not quite sure about World of Tanks, as it is only being betatested, but I hope it will be a good alternative.
I played WoW, just dont have the time so i jump back and forth, quit when i dont have time and then go back when i have ALOT of free time like during the summer where i only have to work and workout lol...
