In all seriousness is there an outlet producing fan fiction that people actually work into their own minds as accepted parts of the canon? Because any time I hear of people crossing fan fiction and the actual plot of these games it just seems to go into some very weird territory.

Here is a tip, the only acceptable canon for any Japanese games with multiple romance-able characters, is the harem route. So no, there are no "acceptable" character A x character B canon, only Main character x Everyone. There is a reason the main characters in persona represent "Universe" and "World" aspects.

That's a good point, one of the things I enjoyed most about the persona 4 anime was that it didn't try to tie any of the character relationship archs down, in the sense of loosely choosing between yukiko, chie or rise.

I just finished Persona 3 not too long ago. Akihiko and Mitsuru are definitely a thing. Don't drag Chie in between them. >_<

In all seriousness I actually like Junpei, I thought he was cool. He had his own personality, wasn't always just your "best bud" unlike Broske, and he clearly evolved as a character over the whole game. That Ken though, wish I could throw him into traffic.... after lighting him on fire.

I've got no displeasure for Junpei, I thought he was an ok dude. Good to see him in the latest update to Persona 4 Arena too! Not sure if I follow Akihito x Chie though, Mitsuru x Aki always made more sense. Chie x Steak sounds hot though!
