    Peter van Doorn is first encountered as a VIP target for extraction in a mission given by the Council. He is a high ranking UN Official that has been cornered by the aliens and needs to be rescued.

    In XCOM2, Peter van Doorn is one of the 'XCOM Heroes', powerful but secret characters that can be unlocked at any time in the game.
