Petria is a relatively small inlet nation that is said to resemble an interstate marker sign. A single journey from the bottom of the nation to its unnamed neighbor to the north through Road 96 is said to at least be 3000 miles. The bottom portion is a vast wasteland littered with abandoned gas stations, failing infrastructure, and oil pipelines, while the top portion is teeming with thriving forests. Petria is not without civilization, however, and has a few highly populated cities which include White Sands and Colton City.
The nation is ruled by one party under President Tyrak, an authoritarian who firmly seized power with an iron fist following a tragic incident known as the Collapse of '86.
