Pharaoh's Tomb is one of the first games created by 3D Realms founder, George Broussard (credited in the game as George Broussad). It is unknown when the game was created but it was released in 1990 by Apogee Software. The game features Nevada Smith, an archaeologist exploring an ancient Egyptian pyramid.
Players have to navigate the chambers of the pyramid while avoiding traps, such as spikes, pits, and falling blocks. Every obstacle is a one hit kill, so it pays to be really careful. Hidden in every level is a key that unlocks the next room, treasures found in the rooms give bonus points as well.
