Looks like a cool imitation. Nice for those who complain about the DS3. I've never had a problem with it myself, so i'm good.

Pretty interesting. I certainly prefer the 360 controller over the dual shock. however, they didnt fix up the trigger's. But still, at least the analogs are fixed

err...what I said in the topic? That the left analog isnt where the D-Pad is, it's too close to the rigth analog. I dont have a PROBLEM with it, but I prefer the way the 360 one is. that is all

The 360's D Pad sucks and the PS3's L2 and R2 suck.  If I could swap either feature for the other controller's version, I'd be happy, but I haven't seen that yet.  Oh well, at least people are trying.

I kind of wish the 360 controller had that textured bits on the sides. I find after I've been playing and my hands get sweaty, the controller tends to slide out of my hand.

I like the DS3, and I've never understood why someone would want to have the analog sticks be asymmetrical.  That aside, I think that that controller looks pretty solidly built.  It's a shame that it's not bluetooth though.

I like the look of this. The Dualshock became obsolete for me the moment the xbox 360 was released.

hope these will be available in the UK.

If it replaced the D-pad, then why is there still a dpad on the 360?
I'm not dissing the 360 pad, I just don't care for asymetry. It looks like somebody accidentily switched the dpad and left stick around.

i know, and i answered. At least that's why I prefer it, because i spent about 15 years using pads where the left thumb is on the edge on a controler

it replaced it in terms of usage, since 95% of games the last 15 years or so use the analog stick

@Venatio: Power A's site has Amazon listed as a retailer, and Amazon ship to Sweden. I haven't been able to find this controller anywhere yet though. I think they still haven't released it yet.

@Rhaknar: I guess I can see where you are coming from. My transition from dpad to analoge went from super nintendo to n64 to ps3. If I had spend more time on the gamecube I might have gotten more used to an analoge on the left edge, it's about the same idea, right?

Let me say this again. for years (all those systems I mentioned) you placed your left thumb on the edge of the controler for the DPAD. That's where you use your left thumb on the 360 controler with the left analog , but on the DS you use your left thumb on the bottom of the controler. that's all :D

This is just a very MINOR preference by the way, I'm not shitting on the DS, its completely fine. hell I'm getting my multi platforms on the ps3, so it doesnt bother me at all. Just, if i could choose a controler, I would chose the 360 ^_^

The 360/legacy systems comparision seem wrong. Yes, the D-pad is on the left, but those controllers didn't have the big hand grips. The feel is completely different.

@Rhaknar: Ahh, ok I get it now. I couldn't understand what your problem was because it's such a minute thing. I still think it's kinda silly. You said you wanted the left stick further left because the old controllers had that, I thought, wait, those controllers didn't have any sticks.

I've never had a problem with the analog stick being where it is on the PS2/3 controllers. My only issue with the PS3 controller is the R2/L2 triggers don't work as well as the 360 ones. Also, I think part of the reason I hate the 360 D-pad so much is its location, which makes a shitty pad even more awkward.

A PS3 controller with 360 triggers would be perfect. Or hell, bring back the PS2 triggers, those were fine; how many games do you actually need to pull a trigger halfway? Racing is the only thing I can think of, and even then 99% of the time I'm all the way on gas or all the way on brake.

Looks good. I'll be thinking about getting one of these.
Even tho my playtime can be summed up as PC>PS3>360 I much prefer the ergonomics of the 360 controller to the  dualshock.
It makes sense for the analog stick to be on the same level as the buttons as these are the things you are using most of the time not the D-pad, and the L2 R2 buttons are just plain bad imho. So this will be cool to use.

I have 2 issues with this controller however:
    1. The porous material for the grip. Seems like sweat and dirt will accumulate there easier and will be harder to clean.
    2. Almost can't see the buttons at all. I like the way they stand out on the standard PS3 controller in terms of colour:/

I like both controller types, having had no real issue with either of them except when it comes to fighting games, where the DS3 obviously wins over the 360 one.

I'm accustomed to both controllers equally. The only thing I don't like about the DS3 is the L2 and R2 buttons. I love how the 360 pad has them trigger shaped, but they are just regular buttons on the DS3. This controller doesn't seem to change that.
