I didn't know that some were locked, I buy many games and it never happened.

Well, I'm not sure if it's 100% garantee, but play-asia specifies that ps3 games are region-free. Maybe they change it if the game is locked, so you could just check their site. But I'm not so sure.

They wouldn't take the time to stamp i pal game for every 100 they do. There really is no region locks, buy away.

if you try doing downloadable content it wont work on your ps3. thats region locked.

Indeed you can.

Apparently all games on the PS3 are region-free. Which in fact they are, but some games you need an HDTV, like GTAIV(PAL) and Army of Two(PAL). This is because it nullifies the PAL/NTSC region coding, in a way.

why would you want to import games from europe? they're all over priced compared to what you guys pay for them in the US... Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is still around £50 here in the uk($100) roughly which is a absolute fucking rip off.

When you go HD, those numbers don't matter anymore. It's all UNITY AND LOVE AND HARMONY ALL AROUND.
