Im in New Zealand do you know if this offer caries over and is not just for the US? but I will be picking up PS Plus

MGS4, Uncharted series (any of them, personally 1 is my favorite), Journey might be game of the year this year, Demon's Souls, Heavy Rain, and Ico & Shadow of the Colossus Collection

These are the exclusives you should get.

I say invest in PlayStation+ and get a few console features and try out all the games they just put up for "free" for $50, and anything else that they put up this year.

Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time a really underrated PS3 exclusive. I guess no one really talked about it because it came out near Uncharted 2, Batman:AA and Demon's Souls. It's really cheap now and I thought it was quality.

@Nightriff: As long as your Plus membership is active.

@Nightriff: Till the PS+ subscription is up, but if your subscription runs out you can renew the subscription and everything you got free is unlocked again. They rotate new stuff every month i think and so long as you download the game it is tied to your account and can be downloaded whenever so long as you have PS+.

@Lego_My_Eggo: So as long as I am a PS+ member I can play the games but when I stop being a member it is blocked again? I'm confused on this.

@Nightriff: That's right. If your membership runs out you lose access but if you renew later on you can play those games again.

@MourerR: Yeah I probably won't do this then, I don't want to get locked into buy their subscription every year to play games. They should make it that you have to buy a year subscription to get the free games to weed out the people that would buy the smaller subscription for the free games (i.e. me)

InFamous 2 is great. Love it. Best open world traversal in video games.

Oh, and Uncharted 2 is off the uncharts.

If you were only going to buy one game, I would make it the Uncharted Greatest Hits Dual Pack. Uncharted 1 and 2 for 40 bucks!

I'd go with Uncharted, Infamous, Folklore (if you want something a bit different), God of War collection or 3, Ico and Shadow of the Colossus collection.

Killzone 2. I havent played 3 yet, but damn that game is really good.

If you are also getting a Move Controller/Navigation Controller I recommend Sorcery, fantastic game.

Agreed with many on this list but also get into PSN+ as there's a lot of free games this month (like Just Cause2) which are well worth the time going into.

Congrats! I was a staunch--and I mean staunch--360 owner for the last five years. And I just got my PS3 in December, but holy shit, man. I love it. I hope you love yours just as much.

Is the PS3 your only HD console? Do you own a 360 and/or PC? Kind of important to know.

Also, what kind of games do you enjoy?

Buy a 3 month sub to PSplus and you have an instant crop of free games to mess with.

pretty much the only exclusives you need.

PS Plus is good in short bursts. THey just released FULL retail games on it for FREE. LittleBigPlanet 2, inFAMOUS2, etc are available for free. If you can play through em quickly you can get 3 months and then cancel; 18 bucks for a handful of games is nice.

I'm sorry but the sad truth is............ PS3 HAS NO GAMES.

These are the games I could recommend for PS3 exclusives. I'm sure I am forgetting some but these are the ones I have really enjoyed the most.

-The Uncharted series is a must, although I am playing through UC3 right now and not enjoying it as much as the first two games.

-If you haven't played Red Dead Redemption, get that pronto. It's probably only $20 now.

-I would say go for a 3-month PS Plus subscription and play all those games for free.

-If you like FPS, Killzone 3 is actually a pretty good game. I found it to be much more enjoyable than the Crap of Duty games.

-Pass on Infamous (Infamous 2 is free w/ PS Plus anyways). It is overrated and boring with repetitive missions.
