So I was just reading the story on gamespot about GTA5 and how they might re-release the game on PS4 after september release on P3S. This got me thinking of the DVD/Bluray movie packs. What if companies sold a single game on both platforms for less than both together, like $100. So you could buy a game now and when you got the new console you could play it on that. This solves many problems.

1. You don't have worry about not buying games now, cause you are waiting for new platform.

2. When you get new console, you will already have games to play.

3. It sounds like neither company is really trying to be backwards compitable, so atleast for some games this solves problem.

4. If you were to trade in one copy of the game you could hopefully make up part of the $40 differance.
